Patrick Cave- Financial Services Policy and Capital Markets
Patrick Cave is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Cypress Group. Previously he served as Acting Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Treasury Department and as Senior Advisor to Chairman Richard H. Baker of U.S. House Capital Markets Sub-Committee; BA, University of Virginia; MBA, Wharton.

Ben Dupuy- Tax and Housing Policy
Ben Dupuy is the President of the Washington DC Coalition for Capital, and the Executive Director of the National Coalition for Capital. Before joining The Cypress Group, he worked as a federal lobbyist for a national membership association, where he was the legislative and political liaison between the association and members of Congress from both political parties and their staffs, including leadership in both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. He has served on the staff of a U.S. Senator, as the Executive Director of an organization of statewide elected officials, and as a campaign staff member for a presidential campaign, a U.S. Senate campaign, and an attorney general campaign; BA, University of Virginia; MA Candidate, Georgetown University.

Brant Imperatore- Financial Services, Capital Markets, and Derivatives Policy
In his work for clients, Brant Imperatore has been intimately involved with a broad range of financial services issues including derivatives, mortgage reform, financial crisis response, accounting, insurance, tax, anti-money laundering, bank regulation, and consumer data. Prior to acting as Partner and General Counsel for The Cypress Group, he directed a large government relations firm's financial services practice; BA, University of Virginia; JD, Tulane; MBA, Darden.

Scott Kirkpatrick- Energy, Transportation, and Infrastructure Policy
Scott Kirkpatrick is located in The Cypress Group's Baton Rouge office. Previously, he worked for Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco as a policy advisor for natural resources, environment, and transportation. Before working in the Governor's office, he held positions in the Washington DC offices of both U.S. Senator John Breaux and Congressman Richard Baker; BA, University of Virginia; JD, LSU.

Damon Munchus- Financial Services Policy and Capital Markets
Damon Munchus currently serves as a Managing Director, heading of the NY office of The Cypress Group. Most recently he served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Banking and Finance in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department under Secretary Timothy F. Geithner. In this capacity his responsibilities included acting as principal liaison between the U.S. Congress and the Treasury regarding financial institutions and the capital markets, counseling senior Treasury officials on all pending financial matters and creating and directing the Department's legislative strategy in order to achieve the Administration's goals before Congress. Prior to the Treasury Department, his financial services and capital markets experience ranged from being a member of President Obama's FDIC Agency Review Transition Team, a Vice President within the Investment Banking Division of Jefferies and Co., and a senior financial analyst for credit portfolio strategies at Fannie Mae; BA, UT at Austin; MPP, Kennedy School of Government; JD, NYU.

King Mueller- Tax Policy and Special Situations
King Mueller previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Banking & Finance in the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs. As the Secretary’s deputy liaison to Congress on key banking and finance issues, he was involved in matters relating to financial institutions, government sponsored enterprises, financial markets, federal debt, and the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). He developed legislative strategy for Treasury’s response to the credit and housing market crisis, including the development and eventual passage of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 and the Emergency Economic Stability Act of 2008. Previously, he served as a policy aide and tax counsel to then-Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott, a prominent member of the Senate Finance Committee. Prior to that, he was a policy advisor to the then-majority House Republican Conference; BA, College of Charleston; MBA, University of South Carolina.

Robert Bailey- Tax and Energy Policy and Coalition Management
Robert joined the Cypress Group during the summer of 2010 as an associate. Previously he served as a member of U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu’s projects office; BA, University of Virginia; MA Candidate, Georgetown University.
